Zepp app with 9 exertion score, other improved features now available for Amazfit users


Zepp Health Corporation, the parent company of smartwatch brand Amazfit, has released Zepp App 9. The application is available for iOS and Android users globally and is compatible with all Amazfit devices. With this app, the company introduces a new feature called Exertion Score, which customizes workout plans and fitness recommendations based on users’ level of exhaustion, recovery and preparation. It helps monitor several key health metrics like heart health and sleep cycles among other metrics.

Zepp Health Corporation announced in a press release that the Zepp App 9 is available to all iOS and Android users globally. It introduces a new interface to users with color-coded statistics and trend insights for easy understanding. Users can see their top scores on the homepage and access in-depth analytics from the tab if they wish. The company says that it is compatible with all Amazfit devices.

The application allows users to access some of the features of Zepp Aura such as sleep music, meditation support and AI sleep assistant with one message per day. With the integrated Aura tab, users can access add-on (paid) services and features such as advanced sleep reports. They can also use the complimentary Zep Coach feature to receive customized workouts or physical training guidance.

With Zepp App 9, Amazfit users will be able to enjoy the Exertion Score feature. It analyzes users’ health and fitness scores and recommends customized changes to workout plans based on their physical recovery and readiness to optimize their fitness levels.

The Zepp app 9 shows users a heart health dashboard that includes data such as heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and blood oxygen and glucose levels. Users can access mini-apps and watch faces through the Zapp Store and device tab, which allows them to personalize their Amazfit device. The Zepp App 9 is also compatible with third-party fitness platforms like Strava, Adidas Running, and TrainingPeaks.
