Sony MDR-M1 closed-back headphones have been launched in India. They sport an over-ear design with soft, thick earpads and come with support for 6.3mm and 3.5mm detachable cables. According to the company, the headphones provide users with a 360-degree spatial sound experience. They are said to provide high-fidelity audio output and are aimed at professionals such as music producers and artists. The company claims that the headphones were developed with input from professional sound engineers like Mike Piacentini of Battery Studios and Akihiro Nishimura of Berklee NYC.

Sony MDR-M1 headphones price in India has been set at Rs. 19,990 and are available for purchase through Sony Centre, Sony authorized dealers and e-commerce sites like Amazon and Flipkart. They will be available for purchase from September 26th. As a limited time offer ending on October 31, the headphones will be available for Rs. 17,990.

The Sony MDR-M1 closed-back headphones feature an over-ear design with an adjustable headband and soft, thick earpads. These are aimed at music professionals and claim to have a design that offers a comfortable fit that helps reduce ear fatigue from prolonged use.
The closed acoustic structure of the Sony MDR-M1 is said to prevent sound leakage and reduce ambient noise interference which can help people when recording, mixing or reviewing music tracks. The headphones have a 40mm neodymium driver that supports sound between 5Hz and 8KHz. They are said to provide a high-fidelity 360-degree spatial sound experience with low distortion.
The Sony MDR-M1 studio headphones support 6.3mm and 3.5mm detachable cables. The cables are available in boxes and are of sizes 1.2 meter and 2.5 meter. The headphones weigh 216 grams and are offered in a unique black color.
