Nothing Ear Open launch seems imminent as TWS earphones are reportedly spotted on IMDA website


Nothing Ear Open may launch as the UK-based OEM’s next audio product. The moniker of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones was reportedly spotted on a certification website. Not much is currently known about the alleged audio wearables. Details about it may emerge online in the next few days. Notably, Nothing introduced the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear(A) TWS earphones in India in April this year. They launched with active noise cancellation (ANC) support and ChatGPT integration.

Nothing Year Open Launch (Expected)

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Nothing Ear Open was spotted on Singapore’s IMDA website. The anticipated audio wearable was reportedly spotted with model number B182. The earphones are said to fall under the “low power device” category and are listed to come with Bluetooth connectivity support.

In the purported listing, IFACTORY ASIA PTE.LTD. According to the report, Nothing Ear is listed as the supplier of Open, while the product is described as TWS earphones. No other details other than the surname were suggested in the list. The report says that the IMDA listing suggests that the upcoming audio wearables may launch in global markets outside the UK and India.

More details, including an official announcement of the product, are expected to be available in the next few days. The Nothing Ear Open moniker suggests that the earphones may have an open-ear design like the Boat Airdopes ProGear or Noise Pure Pods. They may launch with ChatGPT integration, similar to the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (A) TWS earphones.

Notably, the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (A) were launched in India at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 7,999 respectively. They are equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers and support up to 45dB ANC. While the Nothing Ear is claimed to offer up to 40.5 hours of total battery life, the Ear (A) is claimed to offer up to 42.5 hours of total playback time.
