Dyson Ontrack headphones with 40mm drivers, up to 55 hours of battery life launched in India

Dyson Ontrack headphones were launched in India on Monday. The headphones were initially unveiled in select global markets in July this year. These headphones have an aluminum body with a CNC ceramic or anodized aluminum cap. The ear cups and cushions are customizable in a variety of color options. They come with support for up to 40dB active noise cancellation (ANC) and Bluetooth connectivity. It is claimed that the headphones provide up to 55 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Dyson Ontrack price in India, availability

Dyson Ontrack price in India is set at Rs. 44,900. It is available for purchase through the Dyson India website and Dyson demo stores across the country. The headphones are offered in four colors – CNC Aluminum, CNC Black Nickel, Ceramic Cinnabar and CNC Copper. Buyers can customize the ear cushions and outer caps, which are available in seven different colors.

The Dyson Ontrack headphones are equipped with 40mm neodymium drivers that support sound between 6Hz and 21KHz. They also support up to 40dB ANC, which can be turned on and off using a double-tap gesture on the ear cups. They are equipped with a head detection feature, which automatically pauses and resumes the music when the earcups are removed and put back on.

These headphones are compatible with the MyDyson app which allows users to choose from three custom EQ modes – Bass Boost, Neutral and Enhanced. The dual beam-forming inbuilt microphones are claimed to provide voice clarity. Dyson OnTrack supports intuitive touch controls like play, pause, skip, fast forward and rewind tracks or hold for voice commands.

The Dyson Ontrack headphones are said to offer up to 55 hours of battery life on a single charge. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C. Customers can purchase the USB-A Travel Adapter Kit separately. With a quick charge of 10 minutes, the headphones are claimed to deliver up to 2.5 hours of playback, while a 30-minute charge is claimed to deliver up to 9.5 hours of usage.

The Dyson Ontrack headphones come with an aluminum build, while the caps are made of CNC ceramic or anodized aluminum. The ear cushions are made of microfiber material. The weight of the headphone is 451 grams.
