ZTE Nubia Pad 3D is all set to launch at the 2023 Mobile World Congress (MWC) event, which is scheduled to take place on February 28. The ZTE booth in Barcelona for this year’s MWC will showcase the 5G-enabled Nubia Pad 3D, which will offer users a 3D image display without the need for special 3D-viewing glasses. The company claims that this is the world’s first AI technology developed for viewing images in 3D. The technology is said to track the user’s eye movements to project images creating a 3D effect without the need for 3D glasses.
According to an official post on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D is confirmed to launch at the MWC 2023 event on February 28 in Barcelona. The 5G enabled tablet is claimed to use AI technology that tracks the user’s eye movements and simulates a 3D effect when viewing images without the need for special 3D glasses. As mentioned earlier, ZTE claims that it is the world’s first AI technology developed for viewing images in 3D.
In terms of other design and specification details, the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D will come with thin bezels, while there will be two front facing cameras on the display. There is a large sensor between the two front facing cameras, which can be used for the headline making feature, Glassesless 3D. Sensors can help track a user’s eye movements which can then be processed to dynamically produce 3D viewing.
ZTE’s booth at MWC 2023 in Barcelona, Spain will be located in Hall 3 of the Fira Gran Vía, a poster shared on Weibo also confirmed. The official teaser poster says that the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D will be unveiled at 12:30 PM IST.
The poster also reveals the presence of a charging port as well as a speaker grille on the right edge. The teaser poster image sees the tablet sporting a right-angled flat frame with squared-off edges.
More details about the full specifications, design and price of the latest tablet are expected to be kept under wraps until the scheduled unveiling. Still, ZTE will likely be turning heads at MWC with the announcement of an innovation that could change the way we consume 3D content.
