Tipster claims, Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series will be launched in October

The launch timeline of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series has been leaked by a tipster. The successor to the Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to arrive later this year, with South Korean tech giant Samsung also likely to introduce the Galaxy S24 FE around that time. Over the past month, several rumors have also surfaced about the alleged Galaxy Tab S10 series, with one report claiming that the series could be offered without a standard model. It is also being said that the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra may retain the design of its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series launch timeline (leaked)

Tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) has claimed in an X (formerly known as Twitter) post that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series could launch in October. When asked whether the tablets will be released alongside the rumored Samsung Galaxy S24 FE or separately, the tipster said it “would make sense” to announce them together. No other details related to the launch of the tablet were provided by Jambor.

On the other hand, previous leaks have revealed a lot about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series. A report claims that the base model may not be launched this year. If this is true, then Samsung could only introduce the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.

The company is reportedly trying to streamline its tablet offering to compete with Apple – Apple recently launched 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air models. The above report also states that two Galaxy Tab S10 models may enter production this month.

Meanwhile, a new tablet model from Samsung was also spotted on Geekbench. The listing reveals a tablet with model number SM-X828U – related to the Galaxy Tab S10+. The listing suggests that the device may be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. The device is also seen to support 12GB RAM and run on Android 14.

Leaked renders of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra were also seen recently. The renders show a similar design to its predecessor with dual front cameras housed within a notch, and the power and volume buttons placed on the right side of the tablet. It is also being said that it will have a display similar to the 14.6-inch AMOLED screen of the current model.
