Apple iPhone 15 series was recently launched at the Wonderlust launch event. The lineup includes a base iPhone 15, an iPhone 15 Plus, an iPhone 15 Pro, and an iPhone 15 Pro Max. The handsets come with USB Type-C port connectivity support. Before the launch of this series, all Apple products had a Lightning connector. In compliance with new EU regulations, Apple abandoned the special port in favor of a standard USB Type-C port. Now, Mark Gurman suggests that the company will launch Apple Magic accessories with USB Type-C connectivity.
In his Bloomberg newsletter, Gurman writes that Apple will launch accessories with USB Type-C ports alongside iMac products expected in October. According to the newsletter, the new launches will include the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard. He said that the company will also re-introduce the MagSafe Battery Pack and MagSafe Duo Charger with USB Type-C port.
Gurman says the next AirPods Max, whose launch timeline is still unknown, will also be released with a USB Type-C charging port. To maintain EU guidelines and keep parity between its products, it is likely that Apple will redesign its entire product lineup to launch with a USB Type-C charging port.
According to the newsletter, the Apple Watch Series The company is also said to be working on an AI-powered health coaching service. In the same timeline, Gurman suggests that Apple will introduce a Vision Pro AR/VR headset with more advanced features.
According to Gurman, both the 11- and 13-inch models of the iPad Pro are expected to get improvements, including OLED displays for the first time in five years. The Magic Keyboard that comes with the tablet is also expected to come with a metal-top case.
According to Gurman’s latest newsletter, the next iPhone Pro models are likely to get larger displays than their predecessors. MacBook Airs, MacBook Pros, and other Mac devices are also likely to get M3 chips.
