iPhone 16 Pro users are facing another major problem, iOS 18.1 release can’t fix it

iPhone 16 Pro has been in the news since its launch in September due to several bugs noticed by users. Adding to the list of problems is another major issue that is now troubling iPhone 16 Pro users. According to complaints on platforms including Reddit, MacRumors forums, and Apple Support communities, some iPhone 16 Pro models unexpectedly freeze and then reboot.

Some of the bugs seen earlier were fixed by Apple with the iOS 18.0.1 release and iOS 18.1 beta updates. Despite updates to iOS 18.0.1 and iOS 18.1 beta aimed at resolving bugs, affected users continue to experience unresponsive screens leading to sudden reboots. The problem occurs without any warning, often while users are navigating apps or even when the device is in standby mode.

Reports indicate that the issues primarily affect the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, suggesting that the Pro versions may be more susceptible to this glitch. For some users, these disruptions have become frustratingly frequent, with reports of 10 to 20 crashes in a single day.

While Apple is responding to some complaints by offering replacement devices to early users, many have found that the problems persist even with new units. Some users have found that performing a fresh install of iOS without restoring from an iCloud backup has alleviated the problem, indicating that there may be a bug related to the iCloud service.

The ongoing issues have sparked conversation within the Apple community, with many users willing to share their experiences and possible solutions. As frustration grows, customers continue to seek answers from Apple in hopes of a definitive solution to this recurring problem.
